The Introductory Finance Society (IFS) at Carnegie Mellon University equips students with the knowledge, technical skills, and professional network needed to build successful careers in finance.

Members participate in a structured series of educational and networking series focused on professional development, technical finance knowledge, student panels, and interaction with finance professionals.

Members who attend networking sessions can participate in the analyst program, where students are paired with experienced upperclassmen based on their areas of interest within finance.

We will also be holding 2 competitions in the Fall semester, the Investment Banking competition and our Annual Trade Pitch competition. Rooms will be usually 2611 for Mondays and 2700 for Tuesdays. We will post weekly reminders on our instagram regarding the lesson and the room number.
